Sidney Jones awakes from his late afternoon nap with a sudden jerk. It is nearly 6 pm on a beautiful summer evening in a secluded wooded area of Seattle, Washington. Sidney looks out the window, his breath held in anxiety from his nap, hoping he will not miss the setting sun. To his relief, there is still plenty of time to prepare for “It’s” arrival. Thankfully, Sidney’s deceased wife, Martha, appears to him in a dream to wake him from his nap. Sidney gets up with a groan of a man approaching seventy, and he looks down at the old dog lying at the foot of the recliner to make sure he does not step on the animal. The dog rises with a stir as his master heads to the kitchen to prepare for the creature’s arrival. The loyal dog follows behind him.

Sidney and Martha Jones live in a modern yet quaint cabin in the woods just outside Settle, Washington; they have lived there since the early 1980s. The Joneses move to the cabin to escape the nightmare that is the disappearance and presumed death of their fourteen-year-old son three years earlier, in 1978, while on a family vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. The statistics on people disappearing in National Parks are mind-blowing: 700 cases have been reported annually since the 1970s. These mysterious disappearances lead to much speculation as to what is happening in the National Park system; some theories include that a network of serial killers are at work throughout the National Park system, killing people and have gone undetected for decades, or that feral humans live in the park system and are kidnapping the missing persons to eat them as a food source, or that Theodore Roosevelt creates the national parks system to contain the cryptid creatures of American folklore in a secure environment of the park system. The parks allow cryptid creatures to feed on a small population of people who dare to venture into the off-limits sections, preventing these creatures from entering the general park areas to attack and kill innocents.

The Joneses hear all these theories and many others after Billy’s disappearance; the theories also include accusations that they are behind their son’s disappearance for money and fame. An investigation by local, state, and federal authorities concludes that Jones is not involved in their son’s disappearance. Yet, it does not stop the allegations from coming. Despite an extensive search for Billy, his body is never found; authorities believe that the boy has fallen into a nearby stream, as the boy’s fishing rod is found on the stream’s shoreline. The boy’s body is taken downstream by rip currents. The authorities speculate that Billy’s body was possibly eaten by one of the park’s predatory animals once it reached the stream’s shore, since the body was never discovered. So, after years of grief, pain, and continuing allegations, a cabin in the secluded wooded area is exactly what the Joneses need to find closure, a closure that city living would never allow them. In September 1983, five years after Billy’s disappearance, the Joneses moved into their new home. Soon after moving in, strange occurrences lead the Joneses down a path of closure and healing they never imagined. The occurrences are small at first, starting with noises at night from an unknown source, mysterious footprints on the property from a bipedal entity who wears no shoes and has large feet, and many of Martha’s wind catchers are found broken in the morning, knocked carelessly during the night.

As the month goes along, the occurrences become more aggressive and frightening. Outdoor furniture is tossed and broken into tiny pieces, claw marks are found in the Jones’ car and truck, and the intruder also leaves a large amount of feces on the property. These newer occurrences unnerve the Joneses, who begin to suspect they are targeted specifically, given that their closest neighbors, who live about a mile away, report no issues. In late October 1983, a month after the occurrences began, Sidney Jones had had enough and decided to stay up one October night to confront the person or persons behind the occurrences. To Sidney’s horror, it is not a person at all.

The clock ticks on the cabin’s wall, and Sidney’s eyes grow heavy as he sits in his recliner. However, Sidney is younger in 1983, and it is never easy to force oneself to stay awake after a long day at work. Martha is in bed, not sleeping, waiting to see who is behind the occurrences. Martha believes they are good people who have been exceptionally good to the nearest neighbors and the townspeople. Martha fears that someone local is torturing them over the disappearance and death of their son, Billy, despite the Joneses’ best efforts to keep this fact unwrapped due to past mean-spirited pranks at their expense. There are evil people in the world who will not give a second thought to trolling still grieving parents over their lost son and torturing them for enjoyment.

Martha is the first to hear the noise from outside the window, heavy breathing like an overweight person who has just walked onto their property after a run in the woods. Martha slowly rises from bed, as her side is right next to the window, looking out onto the back of the property. Very slowly, Martha raises the curtain to look outside. The property is dark, except for the outdoor floodlights that light the walkways. Martha scans the sections of the property she can see from the bedroom window. To Martha’s horror, she catches sight of the intruder, eight feet tall, with three inches of hair covering its entire body; it cannot be. Maratha closes the blinds immediately, races towards the bedroom door, opens it, and sprints to the living room. Sidney is in light sleep when his wife busts into the living room.

Sidney wakes up instantly when Martha enters the living room, calling his name. Martha is as white a ghost as she stands in front of him. “Martha, what is it?” Sidney asks her with concern. “It’s not, man,” Martha stammers. He looks at her. “he’s here,” Sidney says, ignoring her statement. Sidney gets up quickly and races to the window. He slowly opens the living room blinds, and there is nothing but darkness. “Hunny,” Martha says in a low whisper. “Yes,” her husband answers, slightly annoyed. Martha whispers louder, “It’s not a man.” “What do you mean it’s not a man?” Sidney asks, slightly turning to the side to look at her.

As Sidney looks towards his wife, a thunderous hand bangs on the window. The Joneses are horrified by the length of the hand, which is estimated to be 12.7 inches, and its width, which is 10.4 inches, as the entity lays the hand on the living room window. The glass panels of the window shake from the force of the massive hand. Sidney skids back from the window in shock at the sight before him. The fingers are the size of Italian sausages, with at least three inches of reddish hair covering the top of the hand; the palm is grayish with deep palm lines. Martha comes up behind her husband and grabs him in fear, holding him tightly. The enormous, hairy hand slides slowly down the window; a squeaking sound occurs in the house as the hand reaches the bottom of the window. The sound sends chills down the Joneses’ spines. Martha and Sidney hold each other in fear as the complete shape of the hand’s owner appears at the window and peers into the cabin at them.

Today, Sidney hurries to the kitchen and takes out the items he needs to prepare. Skippy, the dog, watches its master as he sets to work. Sidney misses his Martha. She is better at this than he is. He does his best to remember how to make Martha’s recipe. She is always better at cooking than he is; Skippy sits and watches with a vested interest as his master adds different spices and herbs to a big pot on the stove. After thirty minutes of being on the stove under heat, a smell fills the cabin’s rooms. The cabin begins to smell sweet and savory as the items in the pot cook. The clock ticks in the background like a countdown meter. The sun begins to set. Just before 8 pm, the recipe is complete. Sidney takes a deep breath and looks at Skippy; the dog looks back. “It’s almost time”. He mutters to his loyal pet.

In 1983, the Joneses sip coffee in the cabin’s kitchen a few days after the first encounter. The couple discusses everything except that night and their encounter, as if they are trying to avoid the experience. There have been no occurrences since the night, yet the couple knows the creature will come again; it tells them as much the night before. “Are we going to do it?” Martha asks, finally breaking the ice on the experience. Her husband sips his coffee, hot and black with three sugars, just as he likes it. “I do not see that we have a choice; it will be back, and they expect us to comply,” Sidney responds, clanging the cup on the table. Martha sighs; she knows he is right. They do not want to do it, but believe it is the only way to avoid angering the creature when it returns, as it has already shown aggression. “Are you sure?” Martha asks again. Sidney takes a deep breath. “Yes,” he says, “I’m sure we have no choice.” He adds. Martha nods in agreement.

A few days after the kitchen conversation, Sidney drops Martha off at the local market to shop and then goes to the library to research. Sidney immerses himself in American Bigfoot lore at the local library, quickly reading everything and anything he can find and making copies of related materials. Sidney focuses mainly on sightings in the Pacific Northwest, specifically on the encounters of witnesses who meet the creature. Many reported encounters do not align with the Joneses’ from a few nights earlier. Sidney seeks encounters with experts who believe Bigfoot is not the missing link, the evolutionary gap between apes and humans, but rather that Bigfoot is an alien species and/or an interdimensional creature that travels from other dimensions into our world to hunt and gather for its kind. The Joneses’ encounter aligns more closely with the theory than the missing link theory, as the creature they encounter can communicate with them. Sidney vaguely remembers everything the creature says, yet he remembers it, saying it is from another dimension. Sidney takes what research he can with him and picks Martha up from the market. On the ride back to the cabin, the couple discusses everything except the encounter, yet both have picked up items for that night. Sidney has his research to review, and Martha brings items to cook for the creature in preparation for its return in a few nights. Sidney and Martha have different memories of the encounter, particularly regarding how it unfolds and who is responsible for what. Yet both know one thing: the beast will return looking for food in a few days. Sidney and Martha are unaware that the creature has made them both the same promise: to get news on their son upon its return.

In the present day, Sidney and Skippy wait as the sun sets. Sidney sits in his chair with Skippy sitting guard next to him. The clock’s tick-tock is the only sound in the house. As the sun finally sets, the outside floodlight turns on, illuminating the grounds of the Jones property. Inside the house, Sidney chooses to sit in the dark and wait. He lets his mind wander to the past and the events that have transpired. Back in 1983, Martha is in the kitchen, making the same dish for the creature that Sidney makes in the present time. Sidney watches with a vested interest as she cooks the meal, just like Skippy has in the present timeline. “What is that dish?” Sidney asks, as a sweet-and-savory smell fills the cabin. “I don’t know, it is just up here,” Martha answers, placing her pointer finger on her forehead and tapping her temple three times. Sidney’s eye widens as it strikes him that the creature has telepathically left behind a memory of the recipe it wants in Martha’s mind.

“So the recipe is just in your head,” Sidney asks Martha to confirm his theory. She nods and resumes stirring the pot on the stove. “This creature is fascinating, telepathic, and extremely intelligent; it’s not of this world; well, it tells us it’s amazing,” Sidney says. Martha nods and responds, “Section 109 of the multi-plan.” Martha pauses, then asks, “Have you called the Bennetts?” The Bennetts are the couple who sell the cabin to the Joneses. The Bennetts decide to move to Florida for retirement. “I do, but I get cold feet to ask them if they have had any encounters while they have lived here for fifteen years plus with any Bigfoot creatures.”

Martha chuckles at her husband’s statement and says, “That is understandable; I would not have even made the call.” Sidney smiles, “I have to make up a bullshit story on why I call; it is awkward.” He says with a chuckle. They both laugh at the statement. The Joneses need a laugh; it has been a long time since they have laughed that much. The Joneses are still recovering slowly from Billy’s disappearance. Martha breaks the moment with a question: “Did it make you a promise?” she asks, turning from the stove to look at her husband. Sidney nods his head. “What does it promise you?” he asks. She stands a moment, she licks her lips, she shifts her body, and her eyes start to tear up. “That I will get news of Billy,” she croaks. Sidney moves towards her and places his wife in a bear hug. “It tells me the same. That is why I am going with what it has asked of us.” The couple holds each other tight.

Billy Jones is a smart, funny, and outgoing young man who is the pride and joy of his parents. Billy is a straight-A student heading to high school as a two-sport athlete, playing baseball and football, and excelling in both. Billy also begins discussing playing a third sport, basketball, as he loves being active and healthy. He dreams of being a gym instructor when he gets older. Billy has many hobbies, but his favorite is the paranormal, specifically monsters and aliens. Billy is a big fan of the Universal Monsters of the 1930s and 1940s, as well as the TV series ‘In Search of…’, which explores mythical monsters that can exist worldwide. The one mythological creature Billy is obsessed with is Bigfoot, largely because of sightings near the Jones’ home in York County, Maine. Due to these sightings close to home and the TV show, Billy believes Bigfoot is real and looks for the creature in the summer, at home, or on family vacations. Based on his research, Billy theorizes that Bigfoot is an alien creature from another dimension. This explains to him why it is so elusive: Bigfoot is traveling back and forth between dimensions. Jones’s encounter with Bigfoot aligns with the information Billy has discussed with his parents enthusiastically over the years. Ironically, the Joneses are dealing with Bigfoot, Billy’s favorite monster. However, over time, it becomes less ironic and more intentional.

In October 1983, the Joneses encounter a mysterious intruder, who is later revealed to be a Bigfoot creature standing at the window of the Joneses’ cabin in the living room. The creature has an egg-shaped head that gives way to a human-like face. The creature has the deepest brown eyes and thick, reddish-brown hair that covers most of its head and face. Its teeth are razor sharp and yellowish. The Bigfoot stares through the window at the Joneses, who hold each other in fear in the far corner of the living room. The Bigfoot growls, and the couple freezes in terror at the sound. What happens next is out of a Twilight Zone episode. The creature’s growls slowly turn into English spoken in the couple’s minds.

“My name is B2B. I’m from a race known as Zerg, and I’m from the destination Section 109 of the multi-plane.” The creature’s growl states. The couple listens. The couple each remembers different parts of the creature, as the whole experience is overwhelming. “I come in peace. I’m sorry for the disturbance, but I need to see Jones; I’m here to help you.” The creature pauses. It looks into the couple’s eyes, ensuring it has the Joneses’ full attention. The Joneses listen intently, so the creature continues, “I will return to you on the last night of this month; if you feed me, I will bring you news of your son Billy.” The creature lumbers from the window and walks into the darkness. The Joneses stand there, frozen for a time.

In the present, Skippy is the first to hear the noise from outside; he lifts his head at the sound. Sidney has fallen asleep again. Skippy rises and walks over to his owner in the chair. Sidney’s hand hangs limply over the chair arm. Skippy starts vigorously licking his hand to wake Sidney from his nap. It is enough to stir Sidney from his sleep. Sidney wakes up with a sense that B2B is near. He gets up with creaky bones and limps towards the kitchen. The recipe rests on the stove. He hears a noise from outside, accompanied by heavy breathing and twigs breaking under the large creature’s feet. The B2B is on the property. As it knocks at the door, Sidney flips on the stove again to heat the food.

The Jones family is on their annual summer vacation trip in 1978, and they jump into their Ford station wagon and drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The family travels yearly from their Maine apartment to an East Coast destination. This is Billy’s favorite time of year, as he can explore nature more than he can during the school year. The Joneses enjoy their family vacations, providing much-needed downtime from their work and school lives. Once the Joneses arrive at the park, they camp in a designated area. They settle in to enjoy the week of fun and adventure. On the third day of the vacation, Billy goes down to the stream to do some fishing, while his parents stay back at the campsite, relax, and take in the park’s beauty. On that summer day in 1978, Billy stands at the stream’s edge, preparing his fishing rod to cast into the stream and catch dinner for the family. Billy is about to cast his rod when he notices something strange in the wooded area out of his peripheral vision. It is a strange creature, sizable, extremely hairy, and bipedal. The hairy bipedal creature stands there, looking curiously at the trees, leaning in to sniff the leaves. Billy cannot believe his eyes. Could it be Bigfoot, he thinks to himself. He lays his rod down on the stream’s shoreline and strolls towards the creature. The creature is too interested in the trees to notice Billy approaching it. The creature is about seven feet tall, smaller than Billy expects for Bigfoot; it must be a teen or a female, Billy assumes. The creature’s hair is jet black with streaks of white. The creature’s hair blows in the light summer breeze.

Billy gets within a few feet of the hairy creature before it notices him getting close. The creature looks at Billy, its face more human than expected, its blue eyes meeting Billy’s; it seems unfazed by Billy’s presence. It snorts and moves swiftly towards the opening that leads to a walking path into the woods. Billy decides to walk after the creature to see where it goes. The creature does not run; it walks at a speed that still allows Billy to keep pace. The creature walks about a thousand steps onto the path, then cuts off into the deep woods. Billy follows. The creature moves deeper into the wooded area; Billy keeps pace, hoping to catch a glimpse of its home. Is it a cave, a mud hut, or something else? The off-path route leads into an open meadow. To Billy’s amazement, a stone staircase stands ominously in the middle of the meadow. The staircase is made of grey stone; it appears to have been there for many years, the last remnants of an ancient stone structure.

The creature climbs the stairs with long strides. When the creature reaches the top of the stairs, it disappears into a ball of light. Billy rubs his eyes; he cannot believe what he has just seen. Billy’s day starts as a fishing trip and has now become a journey into the Twilight Zone. The staircase stands there, daring Billy to climb it; it is calling his name, Billy hears in his head. He reads about these mysterious staircases in one of his books on the paranormal. Many paranormal experts believe the staircases lead to another world or Dimension, whichever you prefer. The staircases are never attached to any other structures, and according to many eyewitnesses, they appear one day mysteriously and disappear just as mysteriously.

Billy is a brave and curious young man who craves adventures outside the city. Billy takes a deep breath and walks slowly to the staircase. His heart is beating like a hummingbird when he reaches the base of the staircase. Billy looks up at the staircase, which is ominous yet auspicious at the same time. He knows that by going up these stairs, he will see another world and be the first human to see another dimension truly. This excites Billy, so he places his right foot on the first step of the stone. Without trepidation, he climbs the steps to the top. Billy gets to the top, and an odd sensation overtakes him; he feels warmth in his body, and a flash appears before his eyes. With a whoosh and pop, he is gone.

7

That young man stands before his parents again after three long years have passed. They are overwhelmed with happiness when they see him. Their world is shattered when he disappears. Billy is happy to see his parents. They embrace lovingly for a long time. The Joneses tousle Billy’s hair and hold him tight in their arms. Finally, the loving reunion is broken when Billy states, “I’m hungry.” His parents rush him into the dining room. The B2B stands there like a statue. Martha runs to the kitchen to prepare food. “Mom, I will have what B2B is having,” he says, looking at the creature. The creature purrs with affection. This request takes Martha aback, but she obliges. She brings Billy a steaming hot bowl of the recipe and a spoon. Martha places the bowl and spoon in front of her son. Billy picks up the spoon, places it into the bowl, and slowly starts eating. The boy enjoys every moment of the meal. “Billy, what is going on?” Sidney finally asks. He now has his missing son and an alien Bigfoot creature in his home and is trying to make sense of it all.

Billy sips the recipe off the spoon, then places it down next to his bowl. Billy explains what has happened to him, what has happened since, and where he has been for the past three years. He reveals to his stunned parents that while on the family camping trip, he goes fishing and sees B2B’s son, TAD. He follows TAD to the exit point into dimension 109 and has been there ever since. Billy explains these events in a way his parents can understand, keeping it as simple as he can. Billy then picks up his spoon and resumes eating. The Joneses patiently and lovingly ask Billy to explain his adventures in more detail so they can better understand what is happening. After eating a few spoonfuls of the recipe, Billy goes into detail about his trip to the stream on that day in 1978, describing how he sees Bigfoot, a creature who is B2B’s son, and how he follows the creature to the meadow and onto the mysterious staircase in the middle of it. Billy goes on to explain what happens after he climbs the stairs. Billy states he arrives in section 109 of the universe’s multi-plan through a portal at the top of the stairs. Billy states that Section 109 is the designated home of the Zerg. Billy explains that the universe is composed of many multiverses, or multiple universes, each with its own laws of physics, constants, and distinct histories and configurations. Billy clarifies that the Zerg and human races, as well as many other dimensional races, are part of the universe’s multiverse.

Billy explains that nestled deep within the radiant folds, the multi-plane lies Section 109 and Zerathul, the lush and ancient homeworld of the Zerg. Unlike the more chaotic realms of the multi-plane, Zerathul is a haven of harmony—an emerald sphere orbiting a trinary star system known as the Kasha Constellation. This planet pulses with life, bathed in perpetual twilight from its three suns, casting long, golden shadows across its vast, bioluminescent forests and floating crystalline mountains. The Zerg are towering beings covered in thick, silken fur that shifts colors in response to their emotions and the environment. Their large, padded feet—adapted for dense jungle and glassy plains—carry them with surprising grace. Due to the Zerg’s frequent appearances in the human realm over the centuries, humans have given the Zerg the legendary name “Bigfoot.” Although the Zerg’s physical size and strength may seem intimidating, they are a deeply contemplative, peace-driven race whose faces bear strikingly human features, with soulful eyes that convey millennia of wisdom and exploration. Billy describes Zerathul to his parents, stating that the Zerg homeworld is dotted with Skyroots—massive, ancient trees that pierce the clouds and house entire cities within their branches. These arboreal metropolises blend organic growth and advanced Zerg architecture, where knowledge flows as freely as air and trade routes span the globe through interwoven vineways and anti-gravity lifts. Despite their long history, stretching back eons before most races can grasp the stars, the Zerg have never sought conquest. Instead, they roam the multiverse through Nehvarin portals, adhering to the following principles: exchanging culture, science, and peace wherever they go. Their mission is simple: to discover, enlighten, and build bridges across the vast cosmic universe.

The Zerg race believes that its mission goals are important to its own development and to the development of other races in the universe. The Zerg are also aware through their multi-plane travels that natural resources found in section 109 are not found in other sections of the multi-plane, and vice versa, so trade is necessary for all races’ survival. Billy continues by explaining that ancient Zerg writings teach that the Zerg are distant ancestors of humanity, while other ancient writings taught in section 109 that the Zerg are ancestors of all races of the multi-planet universe, as the Zerg are the first race to develop intelligence and use advanced intelligence to explore the universe and to help other races evolve. According to Billy, the Zerg have been christened by other races aware of their existence in the multiverse as the first known race to appear in the universal multiverse eons ago, at the moment of the Big Bang. Since then, the Zerg have spread their influence throughout the universe, making their presence known to nearly all races and maintaining peaceful treaties with them.

Billy then explains that the earliest humans considered the Zerg the gods and protectors of the known world. Yet, as humanity evolves, growing in its superiority and knowledge, much of humanity no longer worships the Zerg as gods and views them as an inferior race, due to prejudice —a deep-seated and deadly human trait. Humanity tends to dislike people, places, and things that are different from them for no rational reason other than that the person, place, or thing is different. Over time, certain sects of humanity cease worshiping the Zerg as a god, and many members of the human population adopt monotheism. In contrast, other parts of the population explore polytheistic beliefs. As the centuries progress, many humans stop needing or believing in gods to explain the world and its mysteries. Many people in the human race begin to trust scientists over religious leaders. Science answers questions that religion once attempted to answer, and its answers are more tangible than religion itself. Billy confirms that there are still small pockets of the human population that hold the Zerg in high esteem as spiritual entities and protectors of Earth, most notably Native American communities in North America. So, the Zerg stick close to these populations to continue their growth and trade within the human Dimension, as necessary.

Billy continues his explanation by saying that the Zerg still visit the human Dimension, mostly to trade with those humans who still believe them to be gods and to continue learning about and from the evolving human race from afar. The Zerg visits soon became recurring Bigfoot sightings worldwide, reported yearly. With these ongoing visits, the Zerg also gain intelligence on human advancements, especially in the ongoing war operations of certain countries, as well as technological advancements that could lead to the discovery of the multi-plan and the development of advanced weaponry for human war efforts. Upon returning home, the Zerg agents report their findings to the Zerg government. The reports put fear into the peaceful Zerg government, as it has never dealt with a highly advanced war-mongering race like humans before, who build weapons at a fast rate and spill blood over land control. Fear spreads among Zerg government officials, enabling Vlog, a corrupt government official with large bat wings on its back, to overthrow the peaceful government and transform the once-peaceful Zerg government into a fascist regime based on fear and lies.

Billy explains that Vlog has secretly been a separatist leader who opposes a peaceful Zerg government and believes, as the most advanced race in the universe’s multiverse, that the Zerg should rule all inferior races. Vlog exploits fear over a potential war with humans to seize control of the Zerg government by force, leading a revolt against the existing Zerg leadership and overthrowing it. Under Vlog’s leadership, the Zerg begin manufacturing weapons to defend themselves against the human enemy. Vlog even suggests invading the human Dimension first to prevent a deadly war, followed by invading other multiverses to avoid further conflicts. Vlog silences all those who oppose him with public death. Despite the government brutality, a small band of brave rebels that includes B2B, his family members, and other Zergs who do not support the war effort and believe that humans have no intention to fight a war with the Zerg secretly take the fight to Vlog and his forces with terrorist attacks to destroy the government’s weapon factories, while also stockpiling weapons to protect themselves. The rebels’ message to the Zerg people is that many in the human population no longer believe in the Zerg; they see the Zerg as mythical creatures that never existed. The rebels pose the question to the Zerg people: Why would the humans want to wage war on the Zerg when their existence is unknown to them? Vlog insists the rebels are lying, are on the side of the humans, and want humans to take over the Zerg dimension, then the rest of the universal multiverse. Through propaganda, Vlog spreads lies about the rebels, doing everything possible to discredit them. This tactic brings many Zergs to his side, who fight against the humans and, more importantly, aim to bring the war to the humans first. For the rebel cause, Billy states his arrival is the proof the rebels need to discredit Vlog and his separatist party’s lies about the humans. Billy, a human boy, can attest that humans have no intention to attack the Zerg, as billions of humans are unaware of the universe’s multi-dimensional plan of existence. Vlog hears of this plan through his spies and does everything he can to prevent it, find Billy, and kill him. These acts lead to an all-out civil war in Dimension 109 between the two sides. Billy soon finds himself the face of the resistance and its de facto leader, as B2B and the other rebels fight to keep Vlog from invading the human Dimension in grand ground-and-air battles that prevent the separatist forces from using portals to do so. The rebels quickly take control of the portal after Vlog rises to power. So far, the rebels are holding them off. Yet, Billy wants to see his parents again to let them know what happens to him and that he needs to continue leading the fight against Vlog and his forces to protect them.

The Joneses do their best to comprehend what Billy has just revealed to them, as it is out of a science fiction novel. “Hunny, have you been in this dimension since you disappeared?” Martha asks to confirm what she has just heard. Billy responds, “Yes,” and then returns to sipping the recipe. “So, how long are you staying here with us?” Sidney asks his son. Billy takes another sip of the recipe and then responds to his father. “I want to visit for a long time, but it is not safe to travel due to the war raging and all the portals needing constant security.” Billy pauses, then takes another sip of the recipe. He continues, “Recently, we, the rebel forces, have been able to safely acquire a portal and place it in a safe house. I can visit once a month with B2B”.

Billy looks over at B2B, who purrs at his name; for the first time, the Joneses notice how B2B’s fur changes in reaction to his name. The creature’s fur changes from red to a pinkish hue. Billy smiles, then says, “B2B is my bodyguard; the rebels will not let me go anywhere without him.” Billy takes another sip of the recipe. “B2B insists on making the trip here first to ensure that everything is safe for me to travel”. Billy looks at his parents and says, “I’m sorry if he scares you with his initial intel; he can be reckless sometimes.” Billy looks over at B2B, who makes a whipping noise as his fur changes to black. He whips like a dog does when it knows it is in trouble. The answer disappoints Billy’s parents, who hope to have their home permanently soon. Yet oddly enough, the Joneses know Billy is extraordinary. Though all this is unbelievable, it makes sense that he would be involved in something like this. Billy and B2B stay until midnight, and the Jones family takes this time to reminisce about past vacations and other happy moments. B2B looks on with curiosity as the family speaks. B2B’s fur color is a light purple, which makes Billy happy. At midnight, the young man and the Zerg return to dimension 109. The Joneses watch them from the door as they walk into the woods. Deep within the dark woods stands the staircase, the portal back to dimension 109.

The battle in Dimension 109 rages on; the battles grow increasingly bloody as war rages. BOAR, a devoted follower of VLOG, leads the separatist forces against the resistance. BOAR is a ruthless and heartless general who kills innocents as part of his war plan. If a Zerg does not support Vlog’s mission objective, they are useless to BOAR; they are disposed of. The battles have raged for years over the rule of Dimension, with the rebels keeping the separatists at bay and preventing them from invading the human Dimension. Billy visits as promised, accompanied by B2B, his companion and protector, to enter the human Dimension. Sidney and Martha can tell the battles take a toll on both Billy and Zerg, as both appear more haggard with each appearance. The two companions arrive at the Jones’ cabin with battle wounds. Billy shares the stories as well. Their routine has been the same for years. Martha prepares dishes for their arrival. They arrive after 9 pm and stay until after midnight. B2B keeps an eye on the family as they catch up and talk. Since the first visit, the whole family has been eating the dish that B2B introduced to Martha years earlier. The Joneses start enjoying the recipe even when Billy and B2B do not visit. The Joneses worry about their son in dimension 109, yet accept his choice and destiny to protect the human Dimension from invasion.

Martha falls ill 30 years after the first visit, so most of the responsibilities fall on Sidney. The visits continue, but Martha is less present due to her illness. Billy insists on taking his mother to Dimension 109 due to its reputed medical care. She refuses, as she does not want to go against what she believes god wants for her. She slowly deteriorates over the coming months and succumbs to the illness in the late 2000s. Billy’s visit at that time becomes more subdued as father and son mourn Martha’s death and discuss Sidney’s affairs and his survival without his wife. B2B looks on as the men mourn the beloved wife and mother.

The food is on the stove as Sidney awaits B2B’s knock on the door. Skippy is standing guard next to his owner. This is now a known experience to Skippy; the dog himself looks forward to the visit, as B2B has become his friend. The two furry friends play together while the father and son have their visit. Now, both wait for the knock. When it comes, Sidney and Skippy walk to the door together. Sidney opens the door, but it is not B2B. The creature is nine feet tall and pure white; its face is blue, and it has an ape-like appearance more than a human one.

In its clawed hand is a sack dripping red from the bottom. Skippy starts to growl as the creature looks at the two standing in the doorway of the house. It growls at the dog, and with superhuman force, the beast kicks Skippy, and the dog’s body goes flying through the air to the back of the cabin. Skippy lands with a thud on the dining room table. The dog does not move. Sidney attempts to close the door, but the creature will not allow it, grabbing the door at the end and pushing it back open, sending the older man falling backward into the living room. The older man lands with a thud. The creature walks in and hovers over him with the sack, dripping the red substance. Upon closer examination, Sidney realizes with horror that it is blood. The beast roars, allowing the sack to fall to the ground, landing at Sidney’s feet. To the older man’s horror, the sack opens, revealing Billy’s severed head. His eyes are still open, and his mouth is frozen in a scream. Blood drips from where the head has been severed from the body, seeping through the bag onto the floor. Sidney screams; his heart cannot take the sight, and he suffers a fatal heart attack on the spot. The creature roars in triumph as dozens of BOAR’s troops from dimension 109 flood the human Dimension outside the Jones’s cabin in Washington State. The invasion begins.
