The sky’s veil to bed
When the sky takes off her day clothes and slips into her night gown
She leaves me with a sheer material to see in between
Straight through is the reality of what’s underneath
A tease that’s all within reach
But only for the eyes who have learned to unfocus
To see the bigger pictures versus the twined fibers that make the whole
And when she sneaks into bed she tends to glow
Lighting up my room through the blinds as a reminder that even the overseer needs sleep sometimes
